Best Place To Visit When In Aklan

When we are still young, we eagerly want to grow up. Sometimes we even fail to enjoy our childhood because we already wanted to become an adult. But sometimes when we get old we realize that being a grown up is no fun at all, because we experience trials and suffering and we wish that we are like child again.

You might probably asking why I'm writing this, as my introduction? It is because, well to tell you honestly I just wanted tell you guys that even though we are already grown ups we should never take out the fun in our lives. That we do not have to be like a child again to enjoy the simpleness of life. Speaking of fun, I know a place where everyone can have fun and it does not matter who you are or how old you are even, all you have to do is to look at this place in the eyes of a child.

When my friends and I went to Boracay, we met at Iloilo City, because two of my friends came from Davao and my other friend and I have come from Manila. On our way to Boracay we decided to visit this very wonderful place located at New, Washington, Aklan, it is a 2 hours van/car ride from the Iloilo Airport. When we were on our way there, there was a strong rain, we passed by a coastal road which makes the wind blew strong, but with GOD'S GRACE we were able to arrive to our destination safe.

When we arrived at the Sampaguita Garden Resort we were thrilled to see the place, the place was recomended to us by the friend of my friend who have already been there. It was like we were child once again, the place is a theme park filled with Precious Moments Life Size Dolls. We became more excited when we set foot on Jojo's Christmas Cottage, where we got to see the different kinds of Precious Moment Dolls, from small doll that would fit a match box, large dolls almost as tall as us, from Philippines inspired to Chinese, Thailander, Wedding, Mermaid, Dolls, name it they got it.

The Cottage has a theme of Christmas All Year Long, on the second floor of the cottage there were different kinds of Christmas decor and Christmas Trees with many different color decorations. There was even a small winter town with train set. It was really fun to be there.

When we went there it feels like a child again, you would feel so happy. I'm sure that eventhough you are not a Precious Moments Collector you would still enjoy the place. It is indeed a must see place when you are in New Washington, Aklan.

Here are just some of the Pictures we took from our visit at the Sampaguita Garden Resort, in addition they also got rooms where you can stay for the night, they also got the house of Sam Butcher in the Philippines, they got a carosel for children. They also got a swimming pool and restaurant a souvenier shop and all of the dolls are for sale prices will vary as to how big or small the dolls which you would like to buy.

They also got a Butterfly Farm and Gift Shop, a fitness center, a chapel garden and a playground. This place is not only for the Kids to enjoy because they got all sort of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
